I got interested in knowing how did fight being in India? I lately got an understanding of what was the origin.

The journey to this point as on 03 July 2009 started eight years ago when Naz, a non-profit group, filed the petition to read down Section 377. In 2004, the court dismissed the plea.

 The fight for the cancellation of Section 377 kept moving with more and more people joining into this fight.

 Though there were was a increase in number, the fact was that it was all in the shadow and nothing came in the light. I feel probably should have kept moving on… but it was lately in mid June 2009 that I hear a lot of rattling and noise about this fact. and finally on 03 July 2009 I hear that the worst of my dreams is now a reality. Again this is my view, there are thousands and lakhs of people around me that feel that this is an historic move, this is an experimental move, this is really good, finally i can say i am a gay… and so much more…. but what i feel is .. is this a short term joy to a long term suffering?

On 03 July 2009, when I woke up and looked into my most favroutie and one of the leading news providers, I foung a tag line saying : Happy ending to battle that began in 2001
I was excited of what could this be the battle. Is this the battle for ecconomic growth or is the battle for technology or is this the battle for some special agrrement like the Indo US Nuclear Agreeement.
But as I read it slowly down I realized that it is the one of the news that could shake the base of our culture our tradition that we have valued about.
I understood that the High Court has finally given a verdict that legalises the homosexual act with mutual consensus.

I am not here to critizse the High Courts judgement nor do I have itentions of saying homosexuals should be punished but I am here to share about the life before 03 July 2009 and after 03 July 2009. I am here to raise my voice to share about what could be the consequence that can arrise due to this legalization. I am here to share about what I am concerned about my future.
Once again in my first article itself i will say I am not here to hurt any emotions or feelings, I am here to share what I feel and what concerns me. If you feel that this is not your cup of tea please simply ignore every single word of this blog and move on in your life. But if you feel that no this is something that is even your concern join in and lets find ways of effectively living in this new cultural change we have before us. Lets together find how we can ensure that our childrens do not turn into a Homosexual.
After all i would be the last person to be known as a homosexual sons father.
